Bright seahorses adorn this stunning dark brown vase which was handmade in Chulucanas, Peru.
The vase is hand formed, etched, colored with mineral oxides, and then fired in a brick kiln, all in a family workshop. Its design reflects modern style and ancient traditions, incorporating indigenous resources, creating opportunity for local artists, and supporting the development of their economy. Because of the low-firing technique used, we recommend using this vase alone or to hold a dried flower arrangement.
This item is not intended to hold water.
The handcrafted nature of the product will produce minor differences in color and sizing. Subtle shade variations will occur from piece to piece, adding to its unique qualities. All measurements are approximate and may vary slightly.
