The object of the game is to be the first player to advance your racing peg from the starting point to the finish line. Players take turns rolling the dice to advance their peg through their racing lanes. The racing lanes have many random holes through which the racing peg can fall. When your peg falls through a hole, you must begin at the starting point with a new peg. The player who has lost 6 pegs first is defeated, or the player who moves to the red line first is the winner.
