RAVE MASTER: SPECIAL ATTACK FORCE stars Haku who is a young boy placed in a position of having to care for a Rave Stone. He is forced to begin a journey that seems to mirror one that his father had taken years ago. His mission is to locate the Memory of the Stars and carry out his fatherAes work. This fighting game offers several different battle modes. If pure fighting is what the player wishes to engage in, the Story mode delivers one fighter after another in the way of the hero. At times, more than one enemy will be present for defeat. Once an enemy has become weakened, there is a aeTension GaugeAe that flashes and Haku is able to unleash the power of the Rave for a finishing move. Ranking battle offers a new spin on the conventional fighting presented in most games. The player has a specific number of points they are able to spend on characters for the team. Winning battles provides additional points that can enable purchasing more characters. For each character that dies, a new one must be purchased no matter what the outcome of the battle is. If extra points are needed, fighting with a team that is weaker due to a previous battle with the playerAes team, they can be battled again for extra points. The journey of Haku is a mission that becomes individualized with each game. Fans of RAVE MASTER or simply lovers of anime will find characteristics in this game irresistible.
Special Features:
New characters can be unlocked as Haku makes his way through Ranking battles. The team begins at number fifty and each team that is ranked successively above HakuAes can be battled. Each time a team is defeated, the winning team goes up one ranking position. This game can be played with up to four players using Game Boy Advance game link cables. The player can bring down his or her friends with multiple attack combinations and super moves during truly extreme battles.
