This is the sixth book in the Men at War series and the worst so far. Apart from more or less repeating the plot of book five (blow up ship containing nerve gas and villa testing orange fever), the book retells the true story of 'The Man Who Never Was', but adding spurious OSS input.
Far worse however is the ignorance of Britain during WW2. The authors make several referances to distances as in road signs (all removed for the duration), but in kilometers. Haven't the authors heard that Britain uses miles?
I bought the very first four books in the series, but found the last two in the library. Don't bother reading them, a pure waste of time.
