I am a special education teacher in a middle school and I have used this book to bring the incredible stories of Shakespeare to my students. The activities were easily modified to meet the needs of older students, and I especially enjoyed the retellings of the plays since they contained debate and discusion questions. The students I teach were highly motivated to learn Shakespeare in this interactive way. This book makes Shakespeare accessible to everyone, not just the "highly gifted." My students will never forget the year we brought Romeo and Juliet to life. Now they are able follow the story line, understand the characters, and compare the play to West Side Story in the mainstream classroom. Amazing!
