Product Description:
In Slave Girls of the Western World we follow the adventures of Marcus, a lusty officer in the legions of Rome, as he is sent to guard the Northern frontier from the savage blond barbarians - proud Nordic warriors whose women were renowned throughout the empire for their startling beauty. War yields captives — and captives in those less civilized times were forced into slavery, made to obey and to serve their Roman masters. This is the story of the wild debauchery and the sensual decadence that flourished from Rome itself to the farthest reaches of the expansive empire.

Poor Marcos, after seeing a tall willfull blond haired blue eyed Nordic slave sold to the wealthy in Rome, he decides to request a transfer to the Northern hinterlands so that he can get himself one of those beauties to bring home.
The author spends considerable time describing the orgiastic feasts in the harems of the slave masters, and, of course the expected disciplinary proceedures for tose young girls that may not be as happy as expected in their new lives as sex slaves ....
I guess I got the feeling that very few of the characters had much depth or inner feelings and that they all just kind or went through the motions ... thats what takes the book from 5 star erotica to 3 star porn ....
The book itself is 178 pages and an added bonus in my edition has some 80 pages of short erotic stories .....

This book could have been good but wasn't. The most memorable scene was the capture and rape of the female blond warrior and it was ridiculous. If your going to have a rape scene, fine, but the idea that the girl was exhausted from, and i quote, "her own copious spendings" after being violently gang raped was just to unbelievable. Most scenes are perfunctory and boring

Rome was definitely a rich mans [prostitute] in days of yore! I love historical erotica and what better setting than this decadent city, insatiable for more flesh and the delights they bring? A battle weary soldgier, Marcus, spends the night carousing at the palatial estate of a fabulously wealthy merchant. Lounging on silken pillows, he gives himself up to beautiful , specially trained sex slaves. Fabulous orgies abound throughout. And Marcus travels north on a quest for a unique blonde female barbarian that has become his obsession. Along the way, he encounters the delightfully kinky Gratius, who supplies masterfully skilled [prostitute] to the army, local merchants, and prominent politicians while he partakes of the `choicest' slaves in his villa of pleasure, sharing all he knows with Marcus. From rousing romps in steams rooms and simmering Roman baths that give `steamy' new meaning, to well-oiled female gladiators engaged in battles of orgasmic proportions and the `training' of slave girls in the sexual submission, you name it-- it's in this book! There is not one hot stone left unturned. Once again, master eroticist Don Winslow delvers the best.

In this effort, Don Winslow takes the reader back to the glory days of Ancient Rome. The living is harsh and violent by today’s standards, but the prizes are definitely more easily obtainable as the women know their place and are ready to please.
As the novel opens, Marcus (the narrator) is at the opulent home of Quintus Licus, a rich merchant in the city of Rome. Quintus is renowned for his parties and his large wife, Lydia, is known for her sexual raids on the many young military men that attend the parties. Fortunately, since Lydia is occupied, Marcus is spared from her affections. Instead, Marcus is treated to a multi page and very detailed ...from one of the rich merchant’s many slave girls.
...Marcus is an unhappy man. He hates being posted to Rome, which not only bores him, but also stretches his meager income further than it can go. He hates the camp life in Rome and wants to see some action. After watching a lovely blonde goddess being sold from the slave caravan, Marcus becomes inspired. He decides to ask to be reposted from Rome and wants to go North into hostile territory and claim a blond goddess of his own as well as some plunder. He decides to ask to be posted to Gaul—the frontier.
He is posted to a garrison by the name of Bernesium. There he will be the only officer in charge of 200 men. Bernesium has its own very rich merchant in the form of Asinus Gratius. Gratius, among other things, supplies the whores to the troops of the Garrison and reserves some very special ones for use by V.I. P.’s such as Marcus.
What follows is the usual good work from Don Winslow. Great descriptions of the sights and sounds and plenty of very hot sexual action. If you are into period pieces, or historical works, this is definitely one to ad to your collection. It certainly would have made studying world history all those years ago much more interesting!
