I love this book! it has so many great ideas that make cute personalized gifts. I have used some of their ideas and created crafts with the kids i babysit. If you're ever bored, open up this book, and head to wal-mart to pick up some of these items. my favorite idea is the jungle lamp shade. just hot glue some leaves to the shade, and cover the lamp with some twine and you have a really cool unique lamp.
hope this helps!

This is a great book for anyone who is spend thrifty and has a bend toward hand-crafted projects. I think it is an especially fabulous find for the parent of any pre-teen or teenage girl who enjoys homemade projects. I personally modified a number of the projects to fit with what I had available, but they have all turned out great and required only low-cost tools and supplies.

I absolutely love this book! I don't know how ANYONE could have given it one star, or even two! Everything in here is completly affordable, and not only that, but there is nothing in here that LOOKS like it was made with cheaply made items! Everything is beautiful in here and creative as well. Mark is an awesome decorator and designer and has a creative imagination. I wish I had come up with some of the things he did! I am tired of having to spend a fortune on items to make pretty, cute crafts, and this book was my savior! SO many things in here to make and almost all of them easy and quick to do. I will never get rid of this book, and i would reccommend it to ANYONE.

I absolutely LOVE the idea of this book, but it left me a bit disappointed. Out of 101 ideas, I only found four or five that I might want to try, which also may just be my personal taste. A couple things bothered me about the book. Some of the stuff just looked cheap and icky. Also, some of the ideas were repeated over and OVER throughout the book but on different items, like a tray a lamp a box, etc. It's all really the same idea, so why does it count for more than one? Just something that disappointed me.
