This book was fantastic! It was fast paced and not at all predictable. I am a little sad about the ending, but I can't wait to see what is subsequent for Georgina.

This is one of my guilty pleasure series and I think at this point, this is my favorite by an author whose books I thoroughly enjoy. The tone is a little darker than the previous volumes, but this is a good thing: it shows that the series is developing and moving toward something big. Granted, it's heart-breaking in a couple of places, and one part in particular, my jaw was in my lap from shock, but I admire Richelle Meade for being completely unafraid to let her characters take the hard knocks that life throws sometimes. I've been through a nasty break-up, so I can relate to what life has in store for our sensuous protagonist, and while I find her subsequent possible suitor to be a royal pain (in a good way! He reminds me of a cross between Harry Dresden and John Constantine), I believe there is a connection developing between them and I can hardly wait to see what happens in the subsequent book. I would have liked to see more of Tawny, the hilariously inept succubus in training, but that might have slowed down a story in which a lot is already going on...

This 3rd installment was worth the money. Our heroine, Georgina, once again save the day but her personal life took a dive. This book concentrates more on Georgina's love life and less on the going-ons in the supernatural world. As you probably already read from other reviews, Seth broke up with Georgina in what was one of the most heart-breaking scenes I had ever read. Although I know that Seth and Georgina can't last the way they're going and wish Seth was more a help to her in the supernatural world, but the breakup was still heart wrenching, and my regards for Seth dip for the way he went about it. I hope the author wipe him out from the series from now on.
As the series went on, I keep wondering how much more heartbreak and guilt Georgina can take. But the author did hint on a happily ever after for our heroine at the end. The subsequent book is out in June, and I just wish the author will hurry up. The wait between the books is just way too long and I'm dying to know what happens next.

I can't get enough of these novels! Georgina is back with a new adventure. The imp who brokered for her soul has appeared with a new succubus for her to mentor - a shockingly inept succubus with zero class and less style.
Then, her energy is being taken from her in her dreams - dreams which can't be showing the future - can they? Trying to find out who is stealing her energy leads Georgina to seek out some unsavory company for help - bringing up some moral conundrums about whether there are some actions which can simply never be forgiven.
If you've liked the others, I don't need to tell you to run out and get this one. There are some big developments here that aren't fully solved, so I'm eagerly awaiting the subsequent book!
