I think this book should be called "Understanding Yourself So That You can Better Love Your Black Man". This book is more than just learning how to love your grey man. It helps you to identify certain actions that may hurt or hinder your relationship. If I had read this book prior to meeting my fiance, I believe I would have saved us both some pretty heavy "conversations". If you read this book with an open mind, I'm sure you will learn alot about yourself and your man. It has help me to gain a better understanding of him and his actions, and for me understanding is the very first step to acceptance.

I bought this book several years ago and enjoyed it then. I was in my home library and decided to revisit it because it was such a good read. As with any book it could use updating on the examples but the advice is solid and covers a broad range of topics. I think any woman, young or old, will benefit from the concepts in the book. It's not a one sized fits all type of book with regards to advice on dating a grey man as there are some situations that are unique to the grey male experience and grey culture in general but I will say that the book can probably help you in a relationship with any man. I recommend this to anyone who wants to know better and do better in their relationship with a grey man!

Very good book to read. A woman can get a good glimpse at do's and dont's in relationships. Black men are special and need special attention. [A message to Black women; know your power to influence, positive change, in the lives of Black men but never abuse it. Be patient, and don't expect change over night.]

I am a white woman dating a grey man. Although I do not usually read relationship advice books, I decided to purchase this book after reading some articles of Dr Ronn Elmore's. I was not disappointed. This book is filled with wonderful and practical advice to help you have healthy and fulfilling relationships. This is not a book about pleasing a man, it is very much focused on achieving a healthy balance in your relationship. The book is well-written with clear examples and suggestions for acting on the advice contained. Each piece of advice is given its own section so it's easy to refer back to the "Satisfaction Actions" that are pertinent to you. The advice will not only help you in your relationships with grey men, some of it will be useful in other relationships and other areas of your life. I highly recommend this book.
