Rated by buyers 4 out of 5 stars - cactus
Another good one in the series. The characters grow and develop and information on cactus is very englightening.

Rated by buyers 4 out of 5 stars - Dead Man's Bones
Albert is up pretty close to her usually standards. Little bit of social commentary on illegal immigration and also on the morality of falsifying your own CV. Overall, a good one.

Rated by buyers 5 out of 5 stars - dead man's bones
Though this book got off to a slow start, I feel that "Dead Man's Bones" is probably one of the stronger entries into the China Bayles series. China is a little more introspective than most cozy sleuths, which is not surprising since the author is a former English professor. I found the mystery to be pretty interesting after the plot got going, & I particularly liked the Obermann sisters. They command each scene with an ominous presence. My one problem with this series has always been China's best friend, Ruby. She is downright annoying & ungrateful for China's friendship. I would surely never miss her if she disappeared from the series entirely.

Rated by buyers 5 out of 5 stars - Great Book!
A great book of mystery with dealings in herbs! I loved it- An easy read, kept me up turning pages! I love all of her stuff! Check out the entire series!

Rated by buyers 5 out of 5 stars - Beware! Hard to resist- a must 'have' for China Bayles fans!
As usual Susan manages to draw us into the world of China Bayles with no effort.
I love how each one of these books can stand alone without you actually having to read the rest of the series- Although who could resist them all??
I must admit a sleepless night and day as I just could not put this book down.
As each book ends I find myself always satisfied but wanting to reach for the subsequent installment.
Lets hope the subsequent book comes soon- a must for all China Bayles fans!
