This book was required for my very first class in nursing school. It is a pretty good book filled with lots of information. The type is really small and some of the chapters are very long (50+ pages). The clinical chapters are an easier read, but those are the ones that are very long. Study guide that comes with it is pretty good as well, but does not have answers to questions other than the critical thinking model pages. The study guide does not have very much room to write the answers either. Videos for the skills are great. I prefer those over reading the step by step instructions. I think I will probably refer to this book throughout my schooling and probably after that as well. I would not have bought it if it wasn't required, but so far it has been worth it.
