I just finished reading this book & I quite enjoyed it. I do wish there had been more interaction between the hero & herione. I would like to have seen him really torn by having to investigate her as a possible murder suspect. I did think the missing wife storyline was unnecessary.

I will say that I could not figure out who the killer was in this one! I call them vry early on in the book, but this one was really good! Good character development, and really good mystery...

I was very disappointed w/ this book. I had read IN THE EVENT OF MY DEATH and loved it but this wasn't a good read at all. It was only a little over 200 pages but it took me 7 days to read it, I finally just skipped to the back to find out who had done it. The lead character in it got on my nerves so bad that I wished somebody would have slit her wrist so she would "shut up". Ashley the dog was best written than any of the other characters. I will not give up on Charlene Thompson, for I'm hoping
to find another one like IN THE EVENT OF MY DEATH.

Wow... the best book i have read in a long time.... i couldnt put it down and read it in 8 hours... i highly recomend this book...i just finished searching amazon.com for other books written by her and purchased 3 more and can't wait to read them also....
