This book was a little different. It was good, but it seemed to lose its "taughtness" a few times. The theme of the missing little boy seemed at times to not be the focal point. At times we lost the thread of the initial storyline.

Excellent book, suspenseful, a definite page turner. This book is among the many well written books by Carlene Thompson. She has become my favorite author as she satisfies my strong desire for intrigue, along with a bit of romance. Definitely kept me guessing until the end. She portrays characters who come to life for the reader. Received in perfect condition, and quick and easy transaction.

I really enjoye this book. It was suspenseful, but probably could have edited some more out. There were parts that draggged. Make sure you make a list of the characters because she throws a lot at you very quickly. I was actually able to figure out who it was towards the end. That makes reading these novels the most fun.

This is the 3rd book I've read by Thompson. I thought the plot was one that has been overused, but the ESP element gave it a different twist. The romance was not overly done, which was nice. The best part of the book was how surprised I was at who the killer was. To date, I have never guessed who did it in any of her novels! That is what makes Thompson's books worth reading. I still plan to keep on reading them!

This was the very first Carlene Thompson book I have read. It was not bad. Like another reviewer mentioned, there are plenty of suspects to keep you guessing up until the very end. The book did not blow me away, but was okay. I thought the book would be more of a romantic suspense, but it really was not. The characters are clearly infatuated with one another, but they only kiss once during the whole story, and nothing ever developed with that aspect of the story. Other than that, I enjoyed the book and will most likely read more of her books.
