Rated by buyers 3 out of 5 stars - So many Murders in Mormondom?
This was an exciting book, (with a borrowed story from the headlines) However, I found it hard to believe that so many bad things happened in such a short time.(This is Utah) It was almost too frantic. I also found several places where sentences were just too long and confusing. I am also an former Mormon born and raised in Utah. I know some of us have baggage from growing up in the LDS church, but I get the feeling this author has alot.

Rated by buyers 3 out of 5 stars - Behind Closed Doors
This is a good book to read, however I didn't like the use of the "F" word or other cuss words or the description of sex taking place in such vivid detail. For that reason I rated it only a three.

Rated by buyers 2 out of 5 stars - What Really Happens Behind Closed Doors
Behind Closed Doors reminded of a lifetime movie Honestly I watch those movies when nothing else is on TV. and ironically I picked up this book because there was nothing else for me to read which is why I gave this book 2 stars
This book starts off interesting enough it jumped right into Jannies story what I loved about the book was that she is the narrator what I didn't love about the book was the fact that it was pretty predictable the book was a fast read and for the most part fairly decent
The mysterious murder mystery and a few interesting things about the Mormon Church and wanting to see if Cole And Jannie could somehow get together though all the craziness (which this sub plot is what made me think of a lifetime movie) kept me interested turning pages to find out "who done it " Although I kind of had an inkling to who it really was because I swore I watched a movie on lifetime one rainy Sunday afternoon that had kind of the same plot
All in all it was a Okay book not a great book it kept me reading though and the inner turmoil of Jannie was written well
It just goes to show you that nobody knows what really happens Behind Closed Doors

Rated by buyers 5 out of 5 stars - A fantastic tale!
Jannie and Melissa have been friends since childhood and have told each other all their secrets, or so Jannie thought. When she learns the news of Melissa's disappearance, Jannie begins to wonder what secrets Melissa had been keeping from her since Melissa had married her childhood sweetheart, Michael.

After receiving the call that changed her life forever, Jannie is on her way to the command post where the search for Melissa had been set up, when she remembers the shoe box that Melissa had given her to keep safe the week before, and the strange way Melissa had been acting. She decides that she needs to look in the box to see if anything inside can help her find out what might have happened to her best friend.

When Jannie arrives at her home, she soon realizes that someone has been inside her home and is still there. When the intruder takes off, she reports the crime to the police and heads to the command post where she is questioned by Detective Colt Singer and comes to believe that he might be the only she can trust to help her find her friend.

Behind Closed Doors is a fantastic tale that gives the reader an in depth view into the Mormon lifestyle, while keeping you on the edge of your seat on a dark and terrifying emotional rollercoaster. This story has a lot of action going on with smart, funny, and fascinating characters that will keep you entertained and engrossed. Author Natalie R. Collins does a great job of weaving the past and present stories into a seamless plot that will leave readers unable to put the book down. Behind Closed Doors is the very first book I have read by Natalie R. Collins but by no means the last. This is one author that is going on my auto buy list. Behind Closed Doors gets a very well deserving 5 Angels and a Recommended Read!

Fallen Angel Reviews

Rated by buyers 5 out of 5 stars - Stunning
I was riveted to my chair as I read the book. Ms. Collins presents a story that parallels the news, yet she gives it a personal stamp of authenticity. Comments on the religion involved are identical to those I've heard uttered many times from several acquaintances disillusioned with their family's faith. These comments suggest a provenance of rubber-stamped theology and well-rehearsed jargon. It's a page turner and, unfortunately, the underlying theme is all too true.
