This book says it's to help kids learn to read, but actually it's a silly tongue twister. It's a little tough for me to read out loud.
I don't recommend this for developing reading skills. It's not worth buying.

My little brother and I used to request this nearly every night as our bed-time book, (back in the early 80s). My favorite part was when Thump and Plunk made up- they got to have ice-cream! This reward has apparently been changed to "a swim" in the new paper-back. I also seem to remember Thump and Plunk being mice, or some sort of rodent. If you can get ahold of an original version, I would recommend that.

This book I remember from my childhood. the hours we spent reading it over and over again, and it still made me laught out loud. And hey when your little it counts. A must have for parents and children!
