Product Description:
From the number one New York Times bestselling coauthor of Judge & Jury and Lifeguard comes this electrifying solo debut, The Blue Zone.
Kate Raab's life seems almost perfect: her boyfriend, her job, her family . . . until her father runs into trouble with the law. His only recourse is to testify against his former accomplices in exchange for his family's placement in the Witness Protection Program. But one of them gets cold feet. In a flash, everything Kate can count on is gone.
Now, a year later, her worst fears have happened: Her father has disappeared—into what the WITSEC agency calls 'the blue zone'—and someone close to him is found brutally murdered. With her family under surveillance, the FBI untrustworthy, and her father's menacing 'friends' circling with increasing intensity, Kate sets off to find her father—and uncover the secrets someone will kill to keep buried.

An excellent read.
why he doesn't write more of his own novels and less for Patterson is anyones guess. Fast pace, well developed and very hard to put down. Looking forward for more of his works.

This was an intriguing story, incredibly fast-paced. The Raab family had me guessing and I couldn't wait to find out what happened. Insights into witness protection were a bonus. Andrew Gross is a talented writer, and I really loved this, his very first solo novel.
Only complaint is that I burnt my kids' dinner while reading the last few chapters. It was that compelling!!!!!

I read a lot of thrillers, mysteries, etc. This book surprised me...the characters were well designed and the twisting plot is just amazing. This will be one of the few books I will keep and re-read.

This book is very intense. It starts out pretty quick, and just takes off and doesn't stop at all. And just when you think you're starting to figure it out, something totally unexpected always happens. I'd highly recommend this book as a suspence novel. His other book The Dark Tide is also very good. he's co-authored a few books with James patterson, and anything from james patterson, especially his 13 book Alex Cross series, is highly recommendable. They are both excellent suspense writers, and all of their books so far have been very intense.

I loved this book! It grabbed me from the very first chapter and kept me reading. I couldn't put it down. Losts of plot twists and turns and just plain fun to read. I was a little disappointed to see such mixed reviews. I thought it was a great read. I am looking forward to reading more by this author.
