Product Description:
When something's amiss in Spookie House, there's usually only one person to blame—Araminta. But this time she had nothing to do with the disappearance of Barry Wizzard's frogs, and she is determined to find them. Of course, it's not going to be that easy, especially when dealing with a crazy character named Old Morris, a dangerous shark, and a demanding aquarium show audience. Can Araminta find the frogs and steal the show?

It is hard to get through a book when everyone around keeps asking, "What are you laughing at?" So the best thing is....on a cloudy Saturday curl up on the couch and read this book(s) out loud to the kids. All my boys, 4-16 loved this book and can't wait till the subsequent one comes out.

In Frognapped, Barry Wizzard's talented performing frogs have gone missing - and he blames our blameless heroine.
'When someone in Spookie House has lost something they always say, "Araminta, where have you put my . . . ?" You can fill in the blank with anything you like and chances are, someone will have thought that I put it somewhere. I do not know why.'
Araminta and Wanda, determined to recover the frogs, form a detective agency. Soon they begin spying on the suspects and uncovering clues. Sharks, espionage, and treasure - oh my! Can Araminta and Co. uncover the culprit, rescue the frogs, and save the day without getting into too much trouble?
I adore the Araminta Spookie series. The very first two were such fun, and the third one is, if anything, better. I laughed aloud several times during my reading of it - Araminta has a very dry, "unintentionally" humorous voice. She delights me the same way Clementine or Babymouse do. Quirky characters and madcap adventures fill each page. Highly recommended to young and older readers alike.
