If True Lies was doable as a movie(which I loved, by the way) and Mr. and Mrs. Smith was a doable movie, then this book could be a great movie too. I loved it. It was funny, smart, cute and yes a little too unbelievable but that is what makes it a good book. I read to get away from the believable. Tallie was my favorite, then Felicia. Most of the charactors were three D... There were a few in the back ground like in any book. I hated when I knew the ending was near because I didn't want it to end. If you want believable, get NON-fiction!!

I'm usually a 5 to 10-pages a night reader, but on this book I read more than 100 pages each night and had to force myself to turn off the light. This was an extremely well crafted mystery. The dual heroines were likeable; there was a nice romance; and the intrigue never let up. You can bet I'll be reading more of Stephanie Bond's romantic suspense.

I threw this book at the wall. After a promising beginning, the story went downhill fast. The ending was beyond ridiculous.

I've read better and I've read worse but, overall, I'd recommend this book for it's light reading, spots of humor, and smidge of romance. Basically, 3 friends in the publishing industry set out to humiliate a man who has been destroying their personal lives and careers. However, their stunt goes awry when the man ends up dead and the 3 women are suspects. The mystery of `who done it' kept me reading, but the conclusion to the mystery wasn't really satisfying. I also wish the author had explored the romances a bit more; there was a lot of chemistry between a few characters in the book but it wasn't a primary storyline. I would read a Stephanie Bond book again though and hope for a little more fun.

After a decade of reading Nora Roberts, Sandra Brown and Susan Elizabeth Philips, I was looking for a new author. I picked up a Stephanie Bond novel at a hotel book exchange and was hooked. She's a great writer! I have read three of her books so far and they are all witty, fun and well-written.
