Another tale from Mercer Mayer and his beloved character Little Critter. This time you find Little Critter and his class going to the museum but the Dinosaur Exhibit is closed because a bone is missing. Little Critter is disappointed because that is the part of the museum he had been looking forward to, but in the end it is Little Critter who helps solve the mystery and gets his class a behind-the-scenes tour!

My 5 year old son has loved Mercer Mayer stories since his very first one, "When I Get Bigger", that I started reading to him when he was just a baby. Over the years, we have amassed quite a collection of these stories, and as his interests change, we are ususally able to find a book by Mercer Mayer on the subject. The stories are fun and quirky, but generally send a message about situations you may find yourself in out in the world. I will continue to buy these stories hopefully for years to come.

I have purchased several of these books. My children and now my grandchildren enjoyed reading these books especially at age 3-7.I enjoy them also. They are illustrated well.Just long enough for them to not lose interest.
